Duncan Ross

Duncan Ross is an internationally known ceramiscist with work in public and private collections in countries around the world. His vessel forms are represented in the collections of the V & A and Fitzwilliam Museums and the Walker Art Gallery among many others in the UK as well as many collections abroad.

He has developed the ancient techniques of terra-sigillata and smoke firing into a contemporary and subtle form of ceramics. The decorative rhythms and devices of the designs reference many sources and have an Art Deco flourish.
