My ceramic adventures continue to fuel the development of new pieces. Recent practice reflects an ongoing desire to create single coherent works from disparate elements - combining three different firing temperatures and several types of clay and glazes - red, black, celadon: porcelain, stoneware, raku. Threads of ceramic history provide contextual reinforcement and the process of dialogue, tension, resolution and ultimate harmony created is both challenging and rewarding.
