I create bone china tableware collections that are not only functional, but also engage the user on an emotional and sensory level. Using playful forms and texture I actively encourage interaction with the tactile pieces.

My collections often reference traditional ceramics and the natural world. I want my pieces to create curiosity and have a sense of fun. I love the idea that objects have stories to tell and that narratives can be formed through a lifetime of use. An object such as a teacup can become as comforting as an old friend.
