My luxurious serving dishes are intended for the times when we pause from the hardship and greyness of daily life, and get together around the dinner table in a convivial atmosphere. In their bold interpretation of function, the dishes engage the users’ imagination and provide exciting possibilities for presenting food, adding a touch of the extraordinary to the timeless act of sharing food.

Using very wet porcelain I create soft folds while joining various components to make flowing forms. Fluid glazes run into each other, pool in the folds, drip off feet and edges, accentuating a sense of overflowing plenty.
