Sara Flynn

The major concerns that my work deals with are a love of the process of throwing, the beautiful qualities of porcelain and a fascination with the theme of the vessel.

The issues of the Containment of Space and relationship between Interior and Exterior are ones that my work also aims to address, resulting in the production of these sculptural decorative vessels.

Work is held in international collections including The Art Institute of Chicago, and Columbus State University, Georgia, U.S.A., The National Museum of Ireland, Dublin and Department of Foreign Affairs (Ireland) Foreign Embassies Collection – 2005,2007,2008
