Sarah Flynn

Sara Flynn graduated from the Crawford College of Art, Cork (BA Hons) in 1998 and since then has been a full time practicing maker, working exclusively with porcelain.
The major concerns that her work deals with are a love of the process of throwing, the beautiful and challenging qualities of porcelain and a fascination with the theme of the Vessel.

All work is fired in a gas kiln (reduction) to 1280 degrees centigrade, offering a variety of colours and finishes ranging from complex blacks and vibrant reds to cool and subtle greens and whites.

She has exhibited extensively and her work is held in public collections in Ireland and the U.S.
