My work is thrown Limoges porcelain, glazed using combinations of tenmoku and celadon and fired in a gas kiln. The pots will do a job if you want them to - beakers, teapots, pots for flowers - but I don't ascribe a function to all of the pieces. Of late, an unforeseen distortion of some work during firing has led me to alter and distort work deliberately without, hopefully, losing a clarity of line that I aim to achieve in my pots.
